Our Plan Explained: How You Actually Build Toward Owning Your Equipment
When you're shopping for a new furnace, water heater, or air conditioner in Ontario, every "monthly plan" or "rental program" starts to sound the same. Low payment, free install, some kind of coverage — got it. But the details underneath that pitch matter a lot more than the pitch itself.
This is the first post in a three-part series. Here, we're breaking down exactly what our plan includes and how it actually works. In Part 2, we'll look at how the broader market typically structures these plans. In Part 3, we'll put them side by side.
What Our Plan Actually Is
Our plan is a monthly home comfort program built around one simple idea: you shouldn't have to choose between a big upfront purchase and paying forever without ever owning anything. Instead, every payment you make works toward two things at once — keeping your system installed, maintained, and covered, and building equity toward owning the equipment outright.
How the Payments Work
Each month, part of your payment goes toward actually owning your equipment. The rest covers your ongoing servicing and maintenance. Over time, that equity adds up — so instead of paying indefinitely for something you'll never hold title to, you're working toward a point where the equipment is genuinely yours.
Frequently Asked Questions
With a typical rental, your monthly payment only covers the right to use equipment someone else owns — you never build any equity in it. With our plan, part of every payment goes toward actually owning the equipment, so you're working toward full ownership instead of paying indefinitely.
No. Our plan doesn't lock you into a fixed multi-year contract. You can stay on it for as long as suits you, and if you decide to stop, you simply pay off whatever balance remains.
We handle it. Whether it's part of a system replacement or an old unit coming out, our technicians take care of draining, disconnecting, and removing it as part of the installation.
Both. Repairs made under our plan are covered under the equipment's warranty for parts and labour, so you're never left paying separately for either.
The plan transfers directly to the new homeowner. Just give us 30 days' notice before your move, and we'll take care of the transfer on our end.
